I love exploring the combination of walnut and brass
Woodworking has been the focus of each of our pieces but we are just scratching the surface with using brass in our designs. Working with this soft metal is such a joy and connects me with my first dreams of becoming a maker. As a teenager, I apprenticed a jeweler who was a member of our synagogue. He owned a store in Wilmington, Delaware, and there I watched as he designed beautiful pieces that I would then polish. We have come full circle, now I have an apprentice for the summer. Levi is here for a couple months from the west coast and brought his knack for detail and willingness to learn.
