Hand Crafted Wooden Mezuzot
When I turned 13, I was given a small silver mezuzah for my Bar Mitzvah. I was fascinated by the size of the tiny metal box which held a scroll inside. It seems only fitting that I now design my own variations of this ancient art form. My designs are rooted in Appalachian culture with a blend of mid century modern. Each mezuzah is a mini sculpture, and I love its balance between form and function. I’ve hit my stride exploring walnut & brass, and the combinations are endless.
